IN THE COMPANY OF WOMEN
Men behave so differently when they have women present in their proximity. They try to be gentlemen, aristocrats, well behaved, well groomed individuals. As soon as the woman is gone, they are back to their normal selves. Women will rarely get to know this, but men see this all the time.
Moreover, while pretending to be what they are not, men give a lot of benefits to women. They might go out their ways to help them. They might abdicate something for her (a seat in a bus), which they wouldn't had the other person been a man. But for all this, the woman needs to be attractive.
When this habit reaches the workplace, men sometimes let some opportunities pass by. They might even get distracted in the presence of a woman. Its good to have a good looking woman at the reception, in a presentation team, or in a negotiating team. This strategy either lets a better message be sent across to men in the vicinity, or distracts them so that some advantage may be gained.
So if you are a woman, use your charm till the time it does not threaten you in return. It will do you wonders, in your personal as well as in your professional lives. Most of you women must have already known this.
And if you are a man, see that your instincts don't make a fool out of you. Only a few of you men would have known this.
